The… long story!

Welcome to my personal space. It is a rather simple one but gets the job done! I suppose I should have my bio somewhere in case you … wondered! So,

School time. 12 years pass before you know it!

I finished school already having two degrees in foreign languages (English, German), a degree with honours in classical guitar and some experience in guitar recitals and tennis teaching.  I studied Food Science, which was OK as it combines many fields (chemistry, physics, mathematics, microbiology, nutrition,  industrial applications etc.) and  I did some scientific research as well (free radicals, antioxidants and some more industrially oriented things). In the meantime, I took two certificates in tennis coaching which happens to be one of my beloved activities.

I finished with all that, I studied metabolic bone disease in Medical School of Athens for my Master in Science and after receiving it I continued to study Philosophy and History of Science Athens’ university as well. In the meantime and all these years, I have been an active athlete in alpine skiing and tennis always participating in university and other races and tournaments. And not to forget about art, I always deepen my understanding of baroque music and tennis teaching (ain’t teaching an art?). Speaking of art, I cannot but mention one of my biggest addictions – martial arts, where I was lucky enough to be taught by the best.

Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the field of Bioinformatics, Ionian University.
